well i plowed out all My onions today and I am looking for the perfect coating -- I cant seem to get the coating to stick to the onion ring --love a good onion ring -- Roy

Flour, baking powder, milk and a little salt. Make it a little thicker than pancake batter.

You don't need to change your recipe, just coat the onions in cornstarch before dipping in your batter. I think chilling the onion slices and batter help too.
