I do not post often but read about every day. I learned a lot just by reading about the problems others have and the good advice given. I managed to fix the charging problem on my Super C with the 6v system by reading about some of the post a few days ago. Best thing it did not cost anything
but 7 buck volt meter at HF. After testing and cleaning connections it began to charge great again. Just wanted to say thanks.
 
I'd like to add my name to that list. I read it everyday. I know nothing about tractors, but I've learned a lot here. Thanks to all.

Hey Midway, thats been my story for years now. Read about others and their problems and the solutions offered. Use that knowledge when needed. I have contributed a few times, but only when I had an experienced fix to offer. This site is a real world institution of higher learning. gobble
 
There's so much knowledge on this site that almost any problem related to tractors and farming can be solved, just read and it will be there. Been here many years myself and I learn something every day.
 
Same here, I was ready to tear apart our Farmall C because of low oil pressure, and came on here seeking advice. Janicholson told me about the common problem with the oil pump gasket. I fixed it for under $10, been going strong for 10 years now!
 
I am fairly new here, but have already learned a bit about our new to us old Fordson tractor. :D

Looking forward to learning more as we get to know it a bit better.
 
One can learn a lot just reading the posts here. Sort of a Dear Abby for old pharts. It seems no matter how arcane the subject, there's someone here who is knowledgeable about it.

Same here. I pop in about everyday to see what people are chatting about. The detergent oil discussion last week was a good read.

Overall I have learned a lot, been jumped on a few times for asking what some thought was a stupid question, but hey, if you don't know, you don't know, right?

Good bunch around here.
