Not really ,the 6788 was in the 250 built range. The 37 and 6788 had a 3 speed tranny and after owning a 1566 they are a long ways from being on my wish list. I did own a 6388 and should have never sold it ,really liked it.

2496 is not many units built but they do not capture the imagination like the smaller tractors do. Especially, the ones that can be towed on a fifth wheel trailer pulled by a 3/4 ton pickup truck to a show. The supply just happens to be very ample compared to the group that would have an interest in them from a collecting standpoint. They were not from a romantic time in US agriculture as the 1980's farm crisis unfolded shortly after the 2+2's debuted. There was a lot of excitement around here when the 2+2 hit the market in the late 1970's. Upstate New York had seen a few seasons of chopping corn in the mud and 1979 was no different. Many dairyman were thrilled at the prospect of a 2+2 pulling their chopper and wagon through the mud.
