AC-190 tractor

I had a few wires come off of my cap and I did find the firing order but need to know where No 1 is supposed to be on my cap-
can anyone help? Yes I can pull the plug BUT it would be easier to find a pic in a book.... hard to reach the starter button while
I stick my finger in the hole

If you had at least one still in the original position you should have been able to figure it out from there. If you already tried plugging them in Willy-nilly then you are out of luck. Might try the Allis board.

It is really immaterial where # 1 is on the cap as long as all the wires reach. Just turn it up to 1 is on compression, place the rotor on and find the post on the cap that matches the rotor location . Put # 1 there and follow your firing in the direction the rotor turns.
