Revisiting Fender Grab Handles

Many weeks ago, I was asking about handles for the fenders on a Kubota that I wanted to replicate for other tractors I own. To buy them was too pricey. The salvage yard in Kentucky said unavailable even tho I could see them in pictures.
One gentleman here suggested making my own out of rebar and I liked that idea of making my own. Searching around I found some stainless 1/2 inch heavywall pipe and made them from that. They turned out rock-solid. No flex, full strength.
All is well.

good job! careful you might tear the fender off now. was just thinking the heated part might rust now if its an outside tractor. maybe you
could get them chrome plated , just joking.

Case had some pretty substantial handles on the 30 or 41 series tractors. Cast that bolted to the top of the fenders usually one for each side. Liked those handles. The tractor not so much. 830 gas needed a refinery to keep it in gas working it. 930 western with a bassacwards hand clutch. I mean push to engage and pull to disengage, all while trying to see the draw pin hole. I can't say what they should have do to those guys designing them to work that direction.
