Ya those are some what rare. I think
that's a steep price for that particular
tractor. If it was in better condition or
restored that maybe the price tag.

They're kinda rare, but not $17,000 rare.
You can probably find some in wheat
growing country setting in the weeds.

1800 units of 950/ 990/ 995 series were produced from about '58 to '61. Not known the exact number of each model built. The 995 is thought to be the rarest one. A 990 with new injectors in sound running condition is listed on tractor house for 12,500.

I'm thinking about 9-10k to high. It's on my bucket list though. Think a guy could find a decent one for 12500.

Big Wheatland tractors might be more rare in Maryland than out in the plains states. The cost to haul one 1000+ miles east may be factored into the price, but it's still pretty high.
