the brass tag at the governor hook up gives you all your information.

It sure looks like Super M to me. That little, round, brass tag right up on top has the number you need. A little carb cleaner, or brake cleaner and a wire brush will reveal the numbers.

but yes, its a super carb, the standard model has the choke hookup on the outside.

could you clarify "choke hook up on outside?"
I have a regular M and my carburetor looks like this one.
The choke hook up is on the 'inside' ie, next to the engine.
The outside is sealed over.
So I can assume sometime in my tractor's history someone replaced the carburetor with one for a Super M.

standard is on out side of carb, supers have it on inside next to engine. next model 400 has a choke cable on inside.
