At 2 got to the field at 2:45 got back to the house at ten o’clock and between that time I knocked down 15 acres of prairie hay changed one guard and took a 45 minute lunch break to take the truck to the field and get the new guard so maybe the books are right you can do 30 acres a day with an old no.8 mower

Won’t be baling this he just wanted it clipped it was rough as a cob but had to run a pretty good clip to keep the sickle bar clean that’d be where a swather would have advantage I need to cut my guard bolts down so they are the same height as the nuts

You did good. What gear did you have it in 6th or 7th ? I knew of a guy that used to cultivate corn and beans in 7th but no way that I could.

Check the store where you bought the guards. They usually have boxes of bolts that are made specific for each guard.

They do but they want 30$ for a box and I’d need two boxes maybe now that they are going on clearance they’ll get cheaper

Maybe a pretty good check for it all to . Figure one guard 13$ and one section .45$ And five gallon of diesel fuel. About 40$ cost 340$ gross ain’t a bad day

Now wait a min... that over the hood shot going down the road... isnt that in violation of the new Idaho "hands free device while operating a vehicle law" that went in to effect July 1? Or where its an unlicensed vehicle is it exempt?? LOL

Does that 3020 get a break and a chance to cool off when winter comes??? When do you sleep??

In the winter it’s on the bulldozer moving snow . Winter is when I ketch up on sleep . I’m not sure about the hands free hope Barney doesn’t see this post and mails me a ticket
