Rusty Tractor Pic

I know I post a lot of pretty off topic stuff here but finally I have an actual antique tractor photo from my yard. We have had a lot of angry skies lately with some serious "weather" in them. So far nothing too bad has hit me but there has been hail and wind damage in some areas. This was the sky over my rusty McCormick Deering 15-30 a couple of days ago.

(quoted from post at 20:44:49 07/15/20) Great photo! Looks like central Canada has had a little more severe weather than normal this year, eh? Any tornados in your area yet?

Mike
No tornadoes in my immediate area but there have been a few reported in the South. Been some impressive sky displays for sure.

Good photo. My Jeep got hailed back in June. It was parked at the Stavely place. Looks like a blue golf ball. The 82 GMC was at the west place and missed the storm. It carved quite a swath through the crops. unc

Had one storm a couple weeks ago. Strong winds and little rain.
Had a sitting stool under shade tree. Still haven't found it yet
after searching all the fields. Been very hot and dry here in
West Central Ohio.

That's a really beautiful picture, I like the big skies you have out there. I think you've talked a little about the 15-30--something that's been in your family a good long time?

Thanks for the nice scenery,

Gerrit

The 15-30 has only been in my yard close to fifty years. My brother dragged it home to try and get it running for a neighbour at the time. It did start and run briefly after un-sticking the engine but the project came to a standstill and it seized up solid again. Just a lawn ornament now.

Nice photo. I often think of all the old farm machinery sitting outside rusting away or the stuff being collected in good sheds. On just one place in North Dakota there are 2 CASE L tractors, 4 Massey Harris self propelled combines, and too many other items to mention, all outside.

I’d rather have mine outside not very often so you see them all burned to a crisp from sitting outside
