First cutting done

I finished baling the first cutting today. It's not hauled home yet but at least it's rolled up. I've sold all my square bales and all but 38 rounds so far. If we don't get some rain before long and with this 90+ weather we've been having the chance of a good second cutting doesn't look very good. In early spring it rained almost constantly every second or third day, just enough to stall hay cutting or planting crops. Now there hasn't been any rain to mention for over a month. Gonna try to haul on Friday after my hip injection tomorrow morning. You guys have a good day, I'm gonna stay in cause the heat index is over one hundred out there and the mean temp here at the house is 98. Keith

I'm not sure of the stuff he's putting in. He wants to try an injection in my right hip (which is giving me the most trouble} to see if it does any good. If it does then he will replace the hip. If it doesn't then it will be see a Neurosurgeon for back surgery. Both my back and hips have a good dose of arthritis from a wreck I was in in 86 so he wants to be sure hip surgery will do me any good. First Ortho Dr. that don't want to cut if it's not gonna help. Sure gave me fits yesterday when I didn't get the rear door closed on the baler and it plugged. I;m paying for it this morning, can hardly walk with my cane. You have a good day. Keith

Is the stuff expensive like 1200.00$ a shot twice a year ? I’d like to try it but if i can’t afford it no sense worrying about it . I had to go with a cane a few days last fall after lifting way more than I knew I should but the work has to get done somehow. Hopefully the shots will help you for awhile anyway
