Ford 4000 SOS hydraulic system

How do I know what hydraulic pump is on our 1967 ford 4000 SOS
How do i check the output press on the system the 3 point lifts very slow and jerky , the system is full of hydraulic fluid. I suspect the hydraulic pump has gone bad.

I would start by buying a repair manual
and reading about your pump and hydraulic
system.
Then try bleeding the pump and see if
that helps.
Check pressure After you have bled the
pump. If you have a remote valve on the
tractor you can hook a pressure gauge to
that. Otherwise there is a test port on
top of the rectangular plate under your
thighs when you are in the seat.

Get a manual that covers the SOS. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES try "adjusting" anything!!!!!! From what you describe you could have a very simple top cover issue and not a bad pump.
