Determining inner tube size

I have a caddis float tube I need an inner tube for. It is an old float tube and they don't list the tube any longer.

My question is, how might I determine what size the inner tube is if it hasn't any markings? Can I lay out the deflated inner tube and measure the inside and outside diameters and the width of the deflated tube to get an idea as to its size?

I do not want the tube that came with it. Car/truck inner tubes last much longer.
Thanks.

My first thought is to start with the width/outside diameter/ inside diameter of the inflated tube and see if you can match it to some tire size.

Or list those sizes on here and maybe some tire guy can give you some pointers. (I liked the old tire sizes better than the new ones.)
