Farmall Model A Tractor

I have restoring a 1 bottom plow for a Farmall model A. The plow model is A-91 I have all of the handles except the one that sits on the right side of driver mounting to the floor.
Can you explain what the handle on the right side middle of tractor does
and do i need the one for the back to make it work. I have enclosed picture of plow and handle needed.

The one on the platform raises and lowers the plow and the one that mounts by the starter controls the depth it hooks to the front of the plow beam
