This morning I got up and saw the tops of my snow peas eaten off. Ain't no deer here(fenced in). This is in 5 gallon bucket.
I thought Cut Worms. Locals say slugs/snails.

I'm in west coastal Oregon(new to me) and this a new experience for me

Wife says one time she bought soil from the store and ended up with slugs. The plants with the store-bought soil were the only plants affected by them.

Wife says beer is cheaper. Put some in a dish they get drunk and can't climb back out. A saucer like for a coffee cup works just pour the beer on it. They drunk and drown. One can of beer will last all summer she says. So no need to worry about the beer budget.

Diatomaceous earth seems to work pretty good. It is the only stuff that will cut a slug (other than human help), the suckers can climb over a razor blade.
