New Holland ls170 wont start

Hi, my NH ls170 isnt starting, when you
turn the key to the on position the glow
plug light comes on and then once they've
warmed up the light shuts off. That is
normal but when I turn the key to start
the glow plug light comes back on and wont
start. If I turn it to the service
position it will start but runs a little
rough and if you turn it to "run" its
kills its self. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
-Garrett

Is there a error code coming up? Do you have op manual if not i believe they are available on line. Not at home now or would check trouble shooting. Pretty simple machine but have had to replace control modual in mine. Will not be home for a couple days or would look for you. I would raise boom all the way up and set safety
lock next time you have it running much easier to work on with boom raised. Also check fuses in engine compartment.

I dont have a op Manual but I'll try and get one ordered. When in service position it says f04 or something like that?
They other thing is I think the seatbelt switch went out when I buckle up it doesn't shut off. Could that be some of my trouble?

If The seat belt switch is bad it will not turn over unless in service mode. Google f04 code for ls170 and it should steer you in right direction
