These two grade 70 chains are the same brand so do they just spray em with some mexi gold spray paint they almost feel like the chain you use to hang chandeliers with that have that cheap plastic coating on

The difference between clear zinc (silver) and yellow zinc. I dont think there is any difference in the corrosion protection nowadays.

SV--It don't get no better than that--a US flag and Deere in the same picture--THANKS---Tee

Triticale tales about a week to dry behind it . This year I’m going to cut then wait 2 days roll it then wait 2 more and roll it together

Ok . They are both stamped g70 every couple links so that’s
what the dot cares anyway I guess . They were both gold to
start with

You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. The only difference in the process is the yellow or bronze colored dye
pigment used in the last plating bath to give the gold color. There IS a ROHS compliant zinc plating that
has FIVE TIMES as long of salt spray booth protection as the now typically gold plating. Gold plating is
16 hours, ROHS compliant silver or CLEAR zinc is 80 hours.
One of the last HUGE projects I had at work was getting ALL the zinc plated steel stampings ROHS
Certified. Engineering said they (He) wanted a color, like Blue on the stamping to identify it as ROHS
compliant, I told him the shiny silver, almost like chrome plating means ROHS compliant. He said Fine,
but I want a color, and blue is our corporate color. Then I assured him that there was absolutely NO way
that was ever going to happen. I went and talked to the VP of Engineering and the Engineering Manager and
they agreed the shiny silver was fine. And I never heard another word about blue stampings.

take both chains drag it behind the deere for a coupe of miles and no more gold and no more rust and you will have a set of twins.. FYI if my hay gets rained on im blaming you....
