timing 4630 ford diesel 3 cylinder 1999 motor

had injection pump rebuilt and set for timing. have access to pump gear only. can see edge of idler gear with its timing marks as it comes around. no aparent timing marks on pump gear. a flywheel port reveals a "3 5 8 B" as it comes around and corresponds to #1 piston being up with valves closed. i do not see a roll pin at pump gear. is there anyone out there that knows how to set the timing on this tractor? Thanx, Dave. PS- it is a 4X4 sold in 2001. engine model=332/JC.

4630 fuel injection pump is a Lucas type 1298
Serial #45398ASG
DES 8922A211W
Any info appreciated.

That's a DP200 pump, probably lock timed. I don't have specs for that pump.
