What is the length of gas tank on an 8N Ford? I posted earlier but it never showed up. I'm trying to replace the gas tank on my 454 IH with something else.

Actually, it did show up, I remember reading the post. Did you ask your question on the Ford discussion forum further down the menu? Also, maybe change your title to read something like "8N gas tank measurement needed" .... that might grab more attention.

Obviously, you do not have an 8N tank otherwise you wouldn't be asking about it's length. Why are you set on using an 8N tank on your IH? Maybe there is a better option out there in the tractor world. Good luck.

Sorry I missed the first post. A used tank for IH454 is $500 so I'm doing a hack and utilizing different tank.
