International 464 brake issues

I have a International 464. My question is does the brakes use the hydraulic fluid of is it separate from hydraulics? Thanks In advance for any help. Mike

It uses the same hydraulic oil thru out. The brake master cylinders are filled by the return from the hydraulic oil cooler line-it splits off like a Y and some is diverted to the master cylinders and the rest returns to the transmission housing. If your brakes are not working, they may need bled, and if bleeding them does not help for very long-then usually the piston seals in the axles are failing. Mark.
