John Deere 3010 Hydraulic problem

I have a John Deere 3010 and when I raise the hitch the hydraulics make a loud screeching sound and a jerky motion while being raised. The down motion it runs smooth and quiet. I have changed the Hydraulic fluid and cleaned the hydraulic screen and it still does it. Any ideas?
 
Have you tried changing the position of the Load or Depth lever?

It's possible that the hitch valve is out of adjustment, they have a tricky 4 setscrew setup procedure similar to the selective control valves and the steering valve.
 
Did you use hyguard or equivalent ? Some say generic will cause chatter. I dont know. I run generic.. Dont seem to have a problem.

I presume hyd oil level is at the full mark. I suggest to check hyd stand-by pressure which should be 2250 psi.

How would I check the PSI ?

Attach a 5000 # hyd gauge to rear breakaway coupler, move oil control lever under coupler 45 to allow oil flow,start engine move hyd control lever on dash so to activate gauge & observe psi.

I attached a pressure gauge at the remote valve outlet and pressurized the outlet and it went to 2000 PSI....when I raised the hitch it dropped to 400 PSI. It jumped back to 2000 PSI when the hitch reached the top. It moved very slow and a little jerky. Not sure what to do now.
