wd45 original standard equipment

I'm a new owner of a A.C. WD45. I plan on putting the old girl to work, but I also like my machinery to be as close to originally equipped as possible.
I'm mostly interested in knowing what would have come factory in lighting, gauges and little things that people commonly removed without thinking it might be interesting or important later in life.

Most "extra" components like lights and PTO systems were optional, or delete possible if standard. Most period accessories were, and are OK when
installed. So putting specific components on or off was up to the buyer. Make it the way you want to, with the assurance that some will approve,
others will wince, and most will enjoy. Jim

Any WD45 I ever saw had the two headlights and the little red taillight on the left fender. Likewise with gauges - coolant temp, engine oil pressure, ammeter, and traction booster gauge. Some things which might be different are tire sizes, remote cylinder outlet, etc. Now I'm remembering an electrical outlet on the back end, I think for an auxiliary light. I don't know how universal that was.

Two tips for new AC owners.
One, keep a good boot on the shift lever or water will go down it into the transmission if it gets wet. If the trans oil is coffee color or you drain water out of
the PTO look at the boot.
Two, Often the oil in the final drives is overlooked at oil changes and can be nasty ancient stuff.

You are wanting to use so forget what came orignally on lights, may have had none or not good lights. Pot on what you can see with and forget orignallity on them. Otherwise I like orignal.

I sorta agree with the concept. I kept the old lights on my Farmall H, with the dim-bright rotary switch. I like the old golden glow of the lights, instead of BRIGHT LEDs!!!!! Those just don't look right.

But if you are going to work at night they are not bright enough to see what you are doing, not even bright enough to see where you are going. So even tho you like the looks of the older lights srring what you are doing working at night is worth more that liking looks of something that foes not work. And I was not thinking of led lights but modern bulb lights.
