Second week of semi retirement

Well,

I am busier than before I sold my company, but a LOT less stressed. The company I sold to with asked if I would step up in the management to fill a gap. I had nothing else to do, so agreed. I am now responsible for the territory from Tulsa north and out to both coasts. I have three sales groups I have to interface with, so it keeps me hopping.

I am having a blast, best part is I know I do not have to.

You are friends so I will share this. I have had a patch of eczima on my leg that I have fighting for a couple of years, it has disappeared.

Renter is going to mow hay tomorrow, I think I will get H out and put on tedder.

Naw, I see your cooking you are Mr. Riley.

One of my customers is in Portland, have to hook up sometime.

Retired in 13. The worst thing about it is the time goes by so fast now. Seems like just recently that I retired. I have a bit of a machine shop in the basement, a few tractors-one that needs going through that has a few implements too, like to read, and am on the local land trust board of trustees. Even with the chicomvi life is good. My thoughts on retirement are if you have interests and things you want to do to keep busy and happy you will be happy. If you quit work and just sit around you won't be happy and will probably wish you were still working.

Retired July '18 coming up on two years and the days go all too fast. A few machines to fix, lots and lots of clean up to do, throw in some camping trips and the days slip by all too fast.

Part of my payment was I am on salary the next year, they asked me if I wanted to work, or lay back, I chose to work.

It's nice to do what you want but it's hard to believe how busy you can get when your not working friend has a store and he wanted to take his family to see his son in S C so he asked me to run his store while he was gone so for the last 3 days I took care of his store but somehow I locked up his computer so I had to handwrite a receipt for everything I sold hes tickled that i helped him out

I still have scars on my right leg from stress eczema. Was the Sales and Marketing Manager for a company with some poor production history. Since your territory is both coasts, and you have a new Powerstroke to break in, you could always haul that 6610 (6600?) out to NW Oregon. I have a good Ford retirement facility here. I'm glad you are enjoying life. Soak in the good stuff!
