Regarding oil and origins

Not wanting to add to the other, emotional thread.
In my modern, non-antique tractors, I use the manufacturers hydraulic/trans oil. The Kubotas, made overseas use Kubota brand factory oil which happens to be made in USA. Note country of origin in the photo.
My point is country of origin shouldn't really matter. If John Deere factory oil is made in Mexico, then so be it. If my Shibaura built Ford uses New Holland 134 that is what I use.

Counterfeit oil, filters and fasteners are all to common on the store shelves .
Print an expensive appearing container and fill with cheap oil . Sell for a couple bucks less than the real deal .
