Pickups don't have that type of front rims do they? Looks like a larger tonnage vehicle from here.

hen I was a kid on the farm we had a '48 1-ton dodge with a grain bed. it had that wheel on it. flathead 6 motor and a 4 speed trans no hoist. I have scooped a lot of grain off that truck. with that motor and trans the top speed was about 45 miles per hour but in the late 60s early 70s didn't have to be no where in a hurry anyways. if I remember right the tires were a 7.50X20.

that is the same model, Dodge called them "Job-Rated" trucks. Ours was replaced with a barely newer 2 ton GMC with a hoist.
Had a 53 a lot shinier than that. Hard to start, steer, stop and ride in but she was a looker. Probably still have it if
