The McCormick has cranked slow for years. I have thought it was battery issues because the voltage would drop significantly when it cranked. I changed out a water pump and front seal, so cleaned up the battery cable ground connection good. It cranks like a champ now, I guess the reduced voltage at the starter upped the amps enough to suck down the battery.

I have crow on me about this, so please comment.
 
Hey David, not a problem, anyone who hasn't eaten crow (Ive had my share) is either lying or never did much lol

aybe you get a break, since as I recall? your career involved AC. Maybe convert tractor to AC. :lol:
