Whitman Robinson sidewalk plow machine

I saw one other post that never seemed to get much traction on here but wanted to post pics of my plow machine. All wheel, gear driven with High, Low and Reverse. Hydraulics for plow blade. Wisconsin engine (appears to be a military version). Made in Weedsport, NY. I am in the Catskill Mountains area. A great running machine but currently have it listed for sale as it is more than I need but I wanted to share photos while I still have it.

Thanks for checking it out!

Uncertain but it looks like the company was in production of some sorts in to the mid seventies; I understand the factory had a noon whistle the community referred to. I have also seen comment that they produced a "bobcat" model (again not sure if mine or an earlier as I cannot find any info on production models). Wisconsin motor appears to be a military version but not sure that helps date it at all.

Looks like the unguarded crankshaft and the long v-belt run is just waiting for an accident! Was it always that way? Is it hand crank start?
We had a v-4 Wisconsin on a swather when I was young and it would start good in the morning but don't shut it off until it's back in the
shed, because once it was warmed up you could crank all afternoon!

Have seen a couple similar machines of these over the years - but never actually plowing snow. Yours seems to be missing the rear engine shield that covers flywheel and alternator/hyd pump belt.

Here's what we use for plowing sidewalks in Rochester NY. The owner has a fleet of 20 of these plows he deploys across the city when needed.

It's a push button factory start, maybe the back ran something? No idea but agreed on the guard. Could fashion some tin perhaps. She's a runner for sure.

Kent, I saw your ad just the other day. Quite the looking beast.
Have you thought about taking to a local auction? Frank
Walker has equipment auctions . He is in Franklin but starting
a new location in Unadilla. My farm was in the hills of
Treadwell but live in Otsego County now. Photo of me snow
blowing a neighbors driveway in Treadwell around 1988.

I've had it listed locally for about a couple of weeks with the hopes of a decent trade offer for/towards a brush cutter of sorts. Unless we got 10+ inches of snowfall it didn't make sense to break the machine out...watch, I'll sell it and a record winter will follow.

Understandably not the ideal time of year to sell a plow but thought if interest exists perhaps I'd get some offers. I'm flexible on price, just didn't wanna sell myself short from a trade standpoint. Thank you :)
