Got the generator back together

The bearings came so I put it all back together this afternoon. Ran it for a few minutes on the 550, hooked the circular saw up to it and it works like it should. Runs smooth. $150 for the generator, $266 for bearings and seals and a tank and a half of gas and my time working on it. I think I made out like a bandit on this one!! Chris

Good deal all right. Does the tractor need to be running fast. What determines the correct RPM for the generator? Stan

There are 3 small lights on the generator, 2 red and one green. Engage pto and increase engine speed until the green light comes on. It came on just a touch under pto speed on the tach.

hat's a nice setup. I've always put a cycle counter on them and adjust the throttle for 60 hz.
