My wife makes a lot of dill pickles. I planted my dill too late, or the cucumbers too early. My dill plants are about 2 ft tall, and haven't headed out yet. maybe I water the plants too much. If I hold back the water will the plants start making heads? I already have cucumbers coming on. Just small but it will not be long before they are picking size. Any thoughts? Stan

Can't help much if any other then hows the soil?? Last year I had dill plants that where as tall as I am but I do use a lot of horse manure in my garden. I stand 6 foot tall by the way

It will be fine if you want you can cut it so there is a few leaves on the bottom and it will continue to grow . Or cut it hang or freeze dry and you will have all the fresh dill you want
