Issue with electrical problem left side dash. If anyone has experience with these tractors I would appreciate some help. Right dash has new main board and fuse board . Left side should have five lights come on when key is turned on then they go off after started. they are not coming on. Currently three of the indicator lights do work but not the five and the fuel gage does not work. I am thinking the left side board is bad. Power going IN on pin 5 but no power going out. Turn signals and all exterior lights work. Tractor runs great but I want all the lights and definitely the fuel gage to work.

I did that and also installed a new ground to the dash chassis. Good thought! I checked pin 8 on socket housing and the ground Is working.

You could check the paths on the board for continuity. It sounds like a board issue but that being said you could help confirm that by checking the external wiring to the fuel sender and test the sender to help narrow it down. Gauge needs power on one terminal and variable resistance from the sender on the other terminal to work. And please, - everyone!, on JD Soundguard cab tractors, check your fuse boards for burned or corroded edge connector tabs. Problems here can increase resistance and heat and be a serious fire hazard. The boards aren't that expensive compared to having your tractor burn to the ground.

What JD Dave says about corrosion on the circuit board. Mine did that, some soldering and it was good again

Ok I checked the wiring to the fuel tank sending unit and found no power, checked pin 7 out of board for fuel gage and no power. I was thinking board but wanted to rule out all possibilities before repair or replace.. thanks!
