Hand sanitizer from Menards

I got two 64 oz bottles from Menards
today.

Take the pump assembly from a old Windex bottle, cut the tube off to the correct length. Remove the plastic ring from the bottle after you remove the lid for a good seal.. A couple of pumps and you're good to go.
 
Have you ever considered that perhaps the advent of hand sanatizers and children not playing outside all day in the dirt, etc.
Has lead to a population that has way less antibodies built up over the years?

remember a couple of neighbor boys playing in the early spring green oat field where cows grazed & thowing hands full of very wet dung on each other! Both grown up men now with their own little ones.
 
It's been hard for to to find sanitizer.
I fill old sanitizer bottles. Now I have
sanitizer in car. Truck, bought houses.
 
Good score Georgie, you're a new age hand cleaner kinda guy ..... I'm old school, I use soap. Not very trendy but it works real good.
 
When I have to shop for groceries or buy supplies from Menards I wear rubber gloves and N95. I apply sanitizer to gloves, remove gloves after putting things in truck. Then use sanitizer again. I'm a believer in soap and water. Then second layer of protection is sanitizer. I figure if I'm not cautious. I won't get a second chance. You can only die once. No health conditions but I've had too many birthdays, 71.

Well I got three years more on ya Feorge and hope to reach 80 in good health, 85 would be a bonus as long as I can still think. I worked with a guy that said he died five times, I'm serious, but he kept coming back ...... he might want to dispute your claim about only dying once .... ha!
 
My youngest son works at a greenhouse and got a aloe plant. Found a recipe on line and used grain alcohol. Works well

I am 77 and haven't done a thing different than before. My dog & I drink water from the same jug so I get his antibiotics too.
 
I can't find ribbing alcohol.
I know a man who went to liquor store to buy alcohol to make his own. I'm happy to buy a gallon.

Lol...I don't know, but there have been studies done that says putting your hands or feet in rich, organic soils is healthy.

No George, that won't do it. I've done that many times in my younger days, and I am certainly NOT a genius.
 
Did I hear on the news Crane (USNAD) was making thousands of gallons of sanitizer for the military? I worked at Crane when as a college student.

I use to drive by crane on my way to collage if I took the back way. I believe John T worked there.
 
You have to do what you feel is best for you and I am 100% for your Right to do so,, personally I have NEVER used that crap and will not nor do i wear a mask and gloves,, if I can work around mouse dropping all my life and never even get a cold for at least 10 years now I think virus with a 99.9% survival rate has more to fear from me than I do it,, I see a few here wearing a mask inside their cars with them in there alone,, to me thats like wearing a condom when you are alone in bed,, just my opinion but I am sure a few here will or want to Roast me for it,, to those who feel that way stay inside and "Feel Safe" I will take my Rights and Freedom,, I learned to wash my hands in kindergarten some 50 plus years ago,,
 
We found a 3 quart bottle of the stuff. I had a few tubs of hand wipes in the shed to get grease off, they were old and getting dry, can moisten them up now and use them. So felt lucky to find some too, as well as using up some corn.

I don?t go overboard but to like to wipe my hands and cart handles off these days. At least wanted to get through spring planting without catching anything, delaying it let?s the drs come up with better treatments.

There is a joke about using so much cleaner and hand sanitizer and spray, when we pee we clean out the toilet at the same time.......

Case Nutty, I am with you, no mask or gloves for me and I will not use the soap in store restrooms as I don;t know what it contains. I do know just some of the hand loations would set my hands on fire and I would have to scrub heavy with water to get them back to normal and stop burning. If nature picked you to die from this nothing you can do will change nature's mind.
