Lunch time

I used the front bucket on the terramite
to push the sod to one side after using

the aid cutter. My battery is drained.
Need to take a break and eat lunch.
After lunch time to dig a trench for
100amp service.

I knew a guy that used a chainsaw to cut the trench for wire. He wanted an electric fountain in a small pond behind his house. He said it worked.

Thanks for the offer. You are about 5 hours each way. That's 20 hours driving time. I spent 9 hours total today. Got it done with the terramite.

I'd have never thought to use a chain saw, but its actually a pretty good idea. Sure, it would ruin the chain, but what does a new chain cost in comparison to renting a ditcher?
