If you do as they recommend ATF will work just fine,. Vibration is the key to braking engine loose. I did use their product which was guaranteed. if vibrated. secure an old vibrator (got mine from e bay), secure it to crankshaft pulley or whatever. I still have my vibrator and used on several engines. Wife does make me hid the old fashion thing in back of shop. Yes thats what it for was used for BEFORE I bought it. On IH F30 and F20 open hand holes and secure to crank shaft. Worked very well.

Don't think so. One formula is 1 part auto transmission fluid, 1 part kerosene, and 1 part Marvel Mystery Oil.
