Finally got a chance to put my $1,300 mower through it's paces yesterday. Latest ever for the first cutting here. Couldn't be happier with the mower. Good thing I got it done, chance of snow today and 25 tonight. This sure has been a cold dry spring for SE MI.

tell him solve the problem and change the seat out for suspension unit along with mount on springs. deere are one worst for riding

Looks about like the one I bought at a consignment sale 6 years ago--Gave about the same as you-A town had it and brought it to the sale and nobody was there to protect it. The Wife loves to mow lawn so we are both happy. The little 3 cylinder diesel runs good.---Tee

Good Morning blackhole 99
That picture sure would make a nice puzzle . Maybe some one will make it for us .

I bought an F725 at an auction in the middle of January. Used it for years with no problems. Now I use a Z930.

Ive got 2 of them like that, one without and one with a cab (winter work) 60" and 72" deck, snow blower, blade, lawn aerator, Broom. got first one almost 20 years ago from lawn care company now has 2800 hours, one with cab has 3500 hours from college (used for snow removal so has rust issues) keep oil changed, greased and sharp blades, does nice job and fast. fuel pick up tubes in tanks rot off and will eventually need to be replaced (if it runs out of fuel at 1/2 tank replace fuel line and filter in tank.) I would love to find another one too

My son has a Cub Cadet ZTR, I think it is a 54 inch cut. It has absolutely NO suspension anywhere on the mower. Not even the seat. We live on an old farm that has way too much "lawn" mowing and it is all rough ground. I'm telling you, if I operate that mower for more than an hour or so, it feels like I've been beaten up by Mike Tyson. If I ever buy one for myself, it will have suspension all the way around or I won't buy it.

I am mowing about 4 acres each week. We had been using 2 Cub Cadets and spending most of a day. I saw a JD F935 diesel with 72" deck at a dealer when I was picking up parts for a neighbor. It was from a city fleet that trade by age or hours. This had low hours. Price was right so I have used it over 15 years. Those are really nice mowers. Back in January 2020 on AuctionTime I saw a 2013 JD 997 zero turn, also a diesel with 72" deck. I thought about it a little and put in a bid. If it went at my price I would try it. After last call, it is mine for $3,000. I put on 2 new drive tires, changed the fluids and filters, and been mowing with it since.
I agree. If it did not come with the suspension seat it would have one soon. But it does have that luxury.
The F935 is good for reaching under apple tree limbs or reaching out over the edge of a small creek by our house. The 997 is a lot faster mowing on the flat.

Coffee friend traded in his small Kubota riding mower and his 222 Kubota 48" commercial zero turn mower
for a 54" or 60" Walker. He wanted the flip up deck. So I bought his Zero Turn.
None of the commercial operators wanted the 48" because it's too small. They all want 60"
or more to cover more ground faster. I've used it a couple times. It will be fine.
Just a bit of a learning curve. Especially trying to make a straight line!!!
I got it for $4600. Has only 125 hrs. on it. Should last me 'till I quit!!

Should mention I have acre and 1/2 to 2 acres to do, plus tractor club grounds
of 2 or so acres one a year just before the show.
Rest of the time they cut it with an IH A with a belly mower.
Leaves it kind of shaggy, so I do it once before the show to make it "purddy".

I got this to replace my A (can't see tucked away in the barn). I'm getting too old for a hand start and tired of being a monkey to get on and off. This is my brothers property 15 miles from my home. It's a rental and he can't get the renters to cut the back 2 acres. They barely keep the front 1/2 cut.
