case 970 starts right up no throttle

tractor has been setting about 2 years has a bosch pes6a injector pump starts right up but no throttle control someone said maybe governor might be stuck but i think it has something to do with linkage thx

If the foot throttle still works it is a linkage problem.

g idid have throttle linkage unhooked and kill linkage un hooked but just unhooked them didnt do anythiny thing with them

It has been a long time ago but I had that same thing happen.

I can't remember if the problem was a sheared pin in the linkage or a bad cable from the throttle lever. If you start at the throttle lever and trace it to where the motion is lost, you will find the problem.

i got it to work but my original problem wasnt fixed back to drawing board thx for your help

Rack may be stuck. Maybe Dieseltech
will chime in and tell you how to
free it up.

i got throttle to work was kill gable not set right . but my original problem was not fixed my steering column was leeking oil real bad so took out had new seal put in an new bearing put in on top it is still leaking real bad maybe wose any ideas thx
