Exhaust Manifold

As I get older it seems like I do stupid things more often (Alzheimer?s kicking in?) For some reason I thought that the 2 bolts that hold the manifolds together on my Oliver 550 had to come out . Well, they didn?t come out, they twisted off (surprise!!) I got a new gasket and this afternoon I was able to heat it up and got it apart and one bolt out before supper. I?ll get the other one out tomorrow. Now to clean it up and put it back together.

Just in to big of a hurry, slow down and things will go better. At least you got it apart and one out already.

Not sure if I really do more stupid things, or if I am now just more aware of them and have run out of excuses to justify them!
