Kubota Question for Bruce

Do you or did you have a M100X. Because I just bought one and have a couple questions. Anybody else have one? I was trying to
figure out if the hydraulic oil is separate from the transmission, because the hydraulic has been changed but I dont know about the
transmission. It only has 700 hours so probably ok for now either way.

I suggest acquiring an operators manual if you don't already possess one. The 2 Kubota's that I've owned although lower HP than the M100X utilized the trans case as a hyd reservoir & I'll bet your's is the same.

All one big housing , AND I know you do not want to hear this and there are all kind of folks that will chim in with this or that works for me, But the is one tractor the I highly suggest you use KUBOTA UDT fluid in. Heat is the downfall of hydraulic fluids and I have had customers try off brands that did not work out in the M100X. Again it is yours and you can use what you choose, and like the other poster you need to get an operators manual .

I think you are right, but the manual lists one service item as changing hydraulic fluid, and another as changing transmission
fluid. It acts like the brake system is separate too. What about power steering? I think there are three filters for hydraulic
system.

I think from viewing Kubota M100X parts catalog that your tractor has no separate power steering reservoir therefore power steering operates from hyd oil in trans case same as the one I own. I agree that brake system is separate from hyd system due to the fact that brake system has it's own separate oil reservoir.

I have two kubotas a L3600 and a L4310 the transmission oil /hydraulic system / power steering is all one system.and I do use the udt2 oil.
