My dog made a new friend today

I got some oats and alfalfa planted today. My dogs new friend hung out for 10 minutes or so. Found out later that the guy running the power harrow got to see it for 10 minutes a few hours before I got there.

I need to wash my windows...

He really likes it when I have field work. He runs all day back and forth. I really like it when he does this. He then sleeps all night instead of running around the buildings barking at every lil thing.

I think it was a female with pups down in that ditch. She came up to drive off potential predators. After we left that field, she went away. The packs generally break up in spring and they go do their individual things. I have a neighbor who hunts them in the winter. I gave him a lotta crap for missing this one.
 
Have heard that a single coyote will "make friends" with a large dog, then lure it into the woods where the rest of the pack is waiting. Turns out badly.
