To much for the Farmall

Wife wanted a old lilac bush and a maple tree stump removed from the yard, no problem. While digging around the stump with the loader I found a large rock that the roots had grown under. I called my buddy that has a backhoe with a 6 inch wide bucket which is ideal for ripping roots. The stump is out and the rock is buried in the hole. Wife is happy!

looks great, its good to see the old red iron out working.you got to love that Pennsylvania rock dirt,it really makes you work up a sweat but like everything,it is worth it once it's done.i am in the process of digging out a bunch of dead trees in a pine tree grove with a 1966 MF backhoe.i am working with the same "soil",here in south central Pa,so I can respect that.

Looks to me like a Super Six loader on that H. Loaded many a wagon box full of ensilage out of a dirt pit after school with an M. Power steering was by armstrong in that muddy pit. Dad had an off farm job that winter. I believe I was about 14 and maybe 110 lbs.

Is that a cribbing bucket on the backhoe?looks like what is on the machine I run at work to change cross ties
