Well a cousin dropped off another dead one in my back yard. I talked to the owner he got it from. Engine is free and fluids looked good. He said the problem was electrical, the starter or solenoid. The wiring is a bird nest, the alternator doesn't line up with the fan and crank pulleys, and he said the wire from the coil to the distributor was "loose". Should be fun. Best part, not my money. Good rear rubber.

I was that way when I started. Then after studying various wiring diagrams I learned to go step by step from one connection to another. Learned how to switch pos. gnd. to neg. then on to wiring with a generator vs an alternator. I say that and this one will show me wrong.

Shouldn't be too bad if wiring is the main issue. Really isn't difficult if you take your time. Someone made an utter disaster of the wiring in this bobcat I bought. There was no trace of the original wiring harness. I cut it all out and started from scratch. Someone swapped a kubota engine in it. Really wouldn't have been difficult to add what they needed to the original harness. First pic is the only one I have of wiring before. I didn't really think about it til it was too late.
