how to identify year make and model for mc cormick farmall t

Does it have serial number plate, then look on the left margin of this page under serial number. The engine number is under the number 1 spark plug, the on some tractor's, and the date code is on the right side also, casted into the block on older tractor[40-50]. On the 66 series for example it all in the serial number!

(quoted from post at 10:12:41 04/16/20) The plate says ( 210643 J )

The J designates a gasoline only engine, as opposed to distillate fuel or kerosene, so we can assume that your tractor is one of the letter series tractors manufactured between 1939 and 1954. After that, it is a mystery.

Where did you find that number? Were there any letters in front of the
numbers? Look close as they can be hard to see. Any decals on the hood
or grill?
Let us know those answers.

Based on that serial number and cruising through a IH serial number book it could be a 140, M, H, Super C, International 240, Farmall 300, International 340, and
Farmall 350, among others. Some part numbers off of chassis parts should help to further identify the tractor in question. Pictures would be even better.

May be a 47 model B or A, but not sure if they put a J on those. That serial number did use a Rockford clutch and a Atwood I
think. Does it have a wide front axle with engine offset to one side? Does it have a narrow front? Farmall H and M had serial
numbers that high but don't remember ever seeing a J on those.

Hello sikautowerks welcome to YT! I?ll attach a picture of the Farmall letter series models. Let us know if your
tractor resembles one of them. There are identifying numbers by each if you can make them out, if not we?ll just
go by there being 4 rows of them left to right, in portrait or long side of the image. There is also F series Farmalls
like F-12..20..30 but as others have indicated the serial numbers for those don?t go as high as what you show. I
think WESinIL has given you the possible models it could be based off your serial number. You could go to
Tractordata.com...see link...and look them up and pick out the model there by photos and get back to us.

Tractor data

Unless the original poster added a number the only tractors WESnIL posted that serials went high enough are the M,H and super C. But SC started at a higher number than posters number. Also not aware of a J suffix used on a H or M. Not sure about a A or B made near the end of there production, but probably not.
