Kubota dic mower question

Looking at a Kubota 9ft. trail type disc mower. Not a mower-conditioner. Anyone out there run one or have knowledge about them as far as functionality and durability? Or recommendation for alternative brand. Thanks.

As a matter of clarification- the subject line should read "disc." No intent to spread terror in this time where this much to be concerned about. Promise to proof better in the future. Thank you.

They are the models kverneland sold before being Taarup and Vicon models. Seem to have been ok models before, being part of Kubota fixed a bunch of the parts availability problems vicon equipment had.

Here I thought you were looking for something a kin to a beard trimmer, lol.

I bought this 3 pth disc mower last year, and it works great !

It has the same cutter bar as the trail disc mower, the pivot tongue or fixed tongue mower conditioners have. I can understand the desire to have a trailer style disc mower if your tractor isn?t very big, or doesn?t have really good 3pth. It does cost a bit more for the trail style mower, but if suits your needs, then that would be the way to go. I don?t find the 3 pth a problem to hook and unhook. The hay seems to dry just as fast laid out wide behind the discmower as it did left in a windrow behind a conditioning mower. One tip I have for you, get the crop divider board that goes on the far end of the knife. Not an expensive option, but let?s you clearly see the cut/from uncut crop. Bruce

Looks like we have sold 14 since KUBOTA put their name on them, three point not pull types. So far I see no warranty claims or shop tickets on those 14.

Bruce, what model tractor are you using? We would be operating with an M4-071

Have you run Kubota tractors very long?
