Pressure washer pump

This is tractor related because I clean tractors and equipment with it before repair jobs. I need to change the oil in the pump crankcase. The book calls for a U T T O oil, "universal tractor transmission oil", I have some # 303 John Deere oil. Isn't this that type of oil and can I use it in the pump. I know the said to stop using it in tractors for some reason a while back but I never heard why.

The 303 oil does not have the correct additives in it for anythig built from 1974 to present. The correct pump oil is sold anywhere that sells pressure washers.
