Spring work started today

I played in the dirt for the first time this year. Took the disc over the fields we spread manure on. It was a little wet but I have found if you disc it and mix the manure up it will dry much faster. Maybe plant oats next week. I am sure there were a few acres of oats planted and saw several anhydrous tool bars going the roads.I would like to top dress the rye in the morning if the rain stays away. This is in southwest WI. Tom

Tom, I'm in northern Wisconsin. I always find it funny how the one guy can be doing tillage in the southern half of the state and yet we get snow today! We are supposed to hit 63 on Tuesday, so that's good. Cant wait for things to start drying out. Glad to hear people are starting fieldwork.
