Hydroponic tomatoes cucumbers

Anyone on here do any hydroponic gardening, thinking of giving it a try this spring? Thanks

No, but I saw it done in Arkansas. Involved some piping and a small fish tank pump, and grew tomatoes with some 4 inch PVC pipe with the liquid circulating along the pipe and the root system inside. Grew some fine looking tomatoes.

My wife is trying it this year. As soon as it gets light enough I will go get a few pictures. We have had a koi pond with a water fall and stream going to a gold fish pond for years. Added another pump and she's got a bunch of plants growing.

A neighbor used to do that. They are pretty, without much flavor. Seems like they need dirt for flavor.
