Where are you located? That looks quite ugly. We had maybe 3 big snows here in the Buckeye state this winter. Thats about all I like to see anymore. Just not a fan of snow.

True. You guys are better off with a big snow like that. Around here we usually get enough rain we don't have to worry when its a milder winter without snow.

We had almost 7 inches of rain last fall and it?s already drying out around home rain just doesn?t do what the snow will in this country it just don?t mostly I think the snow keeps the temperature lower and I think that helps

You may have posted this 10 minutes too early for the day, or you may have gotten what is headed my way.

If true, you would have been welcome to my portion of the moisture too. I don?t need it, soils very saturated from the snow melt, the couple inches of rain we?ve had on still frozen ground. It?s not as bad as the previous 4 years. Yet. But man we need some weather to dry us out, and we sure don?t need more snow!

I was sitting at the computer, on this very web site, in my house in North Idaho when the house started moving back and forth in relation to the woods I was looking at out the window. Not my first quake, and if you've ever lived near an open pit iron mine, the feeling was similar to when they touch off a whole wall of explosives.
