Have a 52 Plymouth Sedan Would like to add signal lights. Any one have a wiring diagram that can be integrated
into the regular wiring. Checked on the web but could not find what I needed..

FWB,

When you say "signal" lights, are you referring to blinking "turn signal" lights? I'm surprised that your '52 Plymouth doesn't have integrated turn signal lights. I had a 1950 Dodge that did have them.

My step-father had a mid-1940's stake-bed truck that he added turn signal lights to. The control mechanism mounted to the steering column with straps that were like radiator hose clamps. The unit had a little rubber wheel sticking up out of it that rode on the bottom of the steering wheel, so it could turn the lights off after navigating a turn. Pretty cool for that era.

I installed one of those systems on my '53 GMC 1/2 ton pickup. Still out there, belongs to a guy in the interior of B.C.

Yes, signal lights were still optional on Mercury too in 1952. The 53 parts Merc I bought has signal lights but my 52 driver does not. There are blanks in the steering column and instrument panel where they would be if ordered. I'd like to get signal lights on it too but the wiring is a bit of a challenge. My IH trucks have the add on "signal stat" type system that works well on the 56 model.
I saved this image off the net thinking it might be of some help when I get working on it.

Without seeing the wiring harness, hard to say if the wiring is present.

If it is, it will be in the form of an unused connector in the under dash area near the steering column.

If not, the wires will need to be added, probably different sockets put in the park lights.

If this is a presentable looking car, I would try to find a replacement steering column or the necessary factory components to make it look original.

Otherwise, a butt ugly chrome thing can be hose clamped to the column. It will come with wiring instructions.

48 Buick, 48 Olds, 49 Cadilac had, 50 Buick did not same as 49 Checy truck and 50 IHC truck. Controler worked better in those 40's cars than the ones from the 80's up.

I have a unit that fits on the steering post. I can tie into the park lights easy because don't use any how.It is how to tie into brake cylinder switch and tail lights..
