Did you ever listen to CKY radio Winnipeg? If so, do you remember a band that played on the station that called themselves "Ray Little and his Radio Cowboys"? They traveled and entertained in lots of small towns in Manitoba, North Dakota and Saskatchewan. I heard them in person a few times and actually visited at CKY once when they were "On the Air".

Hi Ron. Winnipeg radio would be well out of my range except maybe late winter nights when "skip" might bring in something from out of province. Can't say that I've heard the name of the band either.

CKY, was that AM 580? I spent all my summers in the mid to late 60's in NW Minnesota, listened to CKY and CKRC (I think) 630 AM.

I have fond memories of KY 58 ! My dad had that on the AM blaster during every project, putting up fence and building loose housings tied on the stooker with binder twine ! Your reminding me of the hot summer to come boys! Thanks
