Friday I got started on mine, took the blower and chains off, got the baby Wheel Horse out and blade on, his only job is to peel the gravel out of the grass.

Hate to see that low tire on my tiller tractor, it's an original 1968 with wheel Horse on the sidewalls

The old mower will get the shields pulled/everything checked/all linkage oiled/greased, has over 1900 hours on it.
The John Deere has the virus, treated it to a new China carb. and fuel pump, carb.'s too big, could shove a cat through it and the fuel pump expired after about two hours of run time. Poor old thing ran prefect before.

When I was first allowed to mow the lawn at around age 8 we had a Wheel Horse 800 special. 8 hp. 36" rear discharge deck. It was a great mower. We still had it up until around '90. Still ran and cut grass well. Dad gave it to someone who did some work for him. Wish it was still around !

Ya, I'm the driver now. When the two kids were still here we had three mower decks going. That made the job less painful.
