DuAl 345 loader help

I have a DuAl 345 loader with a pto pump that isn't getting much down pressure and is extremely slow and seems spongy. I recently put in new bucket cylinders and replaced all the pressure hydraulic hoses on the loader and bled them off until good fluid came out. I noticed the return line from the bottom of the resivor to the pump is kinked and pieced together and a new one is on the way. Also the vented cap on the top of the resivor is broke and sprays fluid when lowering the loader after adding hydraulic fluid so I ordered a new cap as well. The lift cylinders hold when the loader is in the air but collapse slightly when I scoop up a bucket of dirt but dont leak fluid, and I plan on putting a seal kit in soon. Could the slow speed and spongyness be caused by the return line restricting adequate fluid to the pump and creating air in the system? Is there anything I'm overlooking? Thanks in advance.

I would say there is a pretty good chance that the return line is causing back pressure in the system. There's a good reason that the return line is always larger than the pressure lines.

I had similar issue on my Dual 325 a while back, changed out the valve and now it will hold up and has down pressure
