It looks like it needs a little work?

Also looks like that is the definition of ?put out to pasture.?

Welcome from SE SD. Glad you're having fun and it's great you stopped by. Be sure to stay awhile, there is a lot of knowledge about a lot of things here, as well as a lot of b$ that has to be taken with a grain of salt.

The link I posted does not work, sorry. That tractor pic is one of 24 pics of other items on the ad. Dallas craigslist, farm and garden section.
( Offering A Collection if Very Neat Antique Farm Tractors on Steel Wheels. Most of these Date 1918-1935. Nothing Newer!)

Welcome to you!
This site is full of "life". You'll find everything here that you'll find everywhere else. Good advice, knowledge, wisdom ...and... crankiness, misunderstanding, grudges.
But we keep coming back for more!

Thank You all for the welcome and replies.
I am yet another soul who at an early age (toddler) loved machines.
Just their presence gave me purpose. I wanted to know how they worked and I wanted to work it.
Still do. I can understand a machine, when I need a break from chaos, the "shop" is my safe place.
In the shop now. Tractor needs paint. Red paint. Still getting the sheet metal prepped.
I have perused this site for a few weeks, I believe I am not alone.

HI there! It is always gratifying to see (hear) new voices. A wide variety of views and ideas along with repair successes is what keeps this site, and others, viable.
What is your current project and/or favorite breed of tractor?

I brought home a 1963 IH 404 about a month ago and have been bringing it back to a usable condition. I have the tractor functioning well, now I'm removing rust and fixin dents.
I may start a thread in the IH section.
